Sleep in the center of Sapporo!

Good budget hotel in the central area of Sapporo, near to everything! The room was clean, I didn't try the breakfast so I cannot comment.

Facilities start to be old, but they are still functional. I was in the smoking section and some better aspirators would improve much the experience.

Comfortable and conveniently located with fantastic Japanese-style breakfast buffet!

The Nest Hotel is located in a great area of Sapporo making it possible to see a lot of the famous sites on foot including things like the clock tower and the TV tower, which are both close by. It is not far from the station and is an easy enough walk even with luggage which we appreciated. Our room was on the smaller side with the bed and the desk being relatively close to one another but was comfortable nonetheless, even with two people sharing the space. There is a laundry room available in the hotel however it tends to be busy and the dryers take a couple of times running to truly dry clothes. The thing that we really came to love during our stay was the breakfast buffet which was included in the price. There were so many dishes to choose from! As long as you like Japanese food it is incredible, though eggs and sausages are available as well for those who do not. It felt like a great deal compared to trying to buy breakfast out in the city.

The only slight downside for this hotel is the fact that you are asked to turn your hotel key to the front desk each time that you go our and collect it upon your return. However, it is not too big of an inconvenience and the staff are quick to return your key to you. Also, it seems that you have to collect your breakfast ticket for the next day from the front desk each day and are not able to collect them all at once for the duration of your stay.

Excellent value and staff

The staff for the reception and in breakfast area was excellent. They are very polite and professional. The breakfast was also very good with many typical Japanese dishes and deserts.
